The story of Alva-Tronics begins in 1891 with the birth of one Alva Ingram in the small town of Philo, CA – in the land of the Redwoods.  Alva was a family man who found time to run his ranch, help the community, and master the fiddle. 

After his passing, his grandson Irvin Alva Ingram gathered some of the cherished Redwood Burl he’d gathered from his Redwood trees.  

That Redwood Burl is what makes up the majority of our products.  It is a limited quantity. And when it’s gone, it will truly be gone.  

Alva’s great grandson, David Alva Ingram, came up withe the idea for these chargers while watching the fall ’23 Apple event.  The event introduced a little noticed feature that blew his mind.  

After 2 months of iterating prototypes, Irv and Dave finished making over 40 for family Christmas gifts. Everyone loved them so much that we decided to make more!
